Japan's 4 major bag productions @Toyooka

Its origin is said to be willow craft, which began in the Nara period.

In Toyooka, a bag-making hub with over 1,000 years of history, traditional craftsmanship meets modern innovation. Young creators from across Japan are gathering here to make new types of bags and take on new challenges.

About

  Omoshiroki Kotomonakiyowo omosihroku

''Omoshiroki  Kotomonakiyowo Omoshiroku (Meaning: Turn an uninteresting world into an interesting one.) '' This is the death poem of Shinsaku Takasugi, a prominent samurai from the late Edo period. He worked hard to change a better world, but he died at a young age. This poem is followed by other poems like this one※. ''Suminasumonoha Kokoronarikeri (Meaning: It is your own mind that makes this uninteresting world a pleasant place to live.)''

The world is full of hardship and heartaches, but when it gets to you, just grab a single bag and step outside." You might discover something wonderful that you usually overlook. Yes, a change in your mindset can completely change how you see the world.

I hope that my products make will help change your ''unexciting world''.

※The first half by Shinsaku Takasugi; the second half by Motoni Nomura.
